Scrivener – Scrivener is a powerful content-generation tool for writers that allows you to concentrate on composing and structuring long and difficult documents. While it gives you complete control of the formatting, its focus is on helping you get to the end of that awkward first draft. The iOS version is $19.99 and well worth the price!
Mindly – We created Mindly to provide most effective tool to capture, organize and develop your ideas. Our focus is to keep you focused. We wanted something that does not require lot of typing, formatting or adjusting details. There’s a free version and a Plus version for $6.99
Evernote – Organize your way. Use notebooks, tags, or our powerful search to find everything you need quickly. Manage projects, take meeting notes, set reminders, and edit documents. I personally feel that the $69.99 yearly price is worth its weight in gold.
Focus Booster – Before starting a focus session, add/select a task and client to attribute the time to. When you finish the session, Focus Booster logs the time, task, and client to your timesheet. Then, your Reports dashboard shows a snapshot of your timesheet and revenue for selected dates. You can even download detailed CSV reports for simpler invoicing. This is great for freelancers! The cost is $2.99 a month
